Parking at Newark Airport

Newark Airport has short-term and long-term parking areas. Short-term parking is open parking located closest to the terminal doors. Long-term parking areas are located further away from the terminal.

Short-term parking

Designed for dropping off and picking up passengers before a flight or for waits of a few hours. There are short-term parking areas immediately in front of Terminal A, Terminal B, and Terminal C. If you have come to the airport to drop someone off or pick someone up, you can park your car in this area. Hourly rates apply here. Keep in mind that prices may increase during busy periods and that parking spaces may be full. You can walk to the terminal from these parking areas.

Long-term parking

These parking areas are more affordable. Long-term parking areas are located further away from the terminal. After parking your car, you can take the AirTrain or shuttle to the terminal. If you are parking your car for several days or longer, you can use the P6 parking lot. Don’t forget to make an online reservation in advance for long-term parking. You will get a discount on the price and secure your parking space. Rates vary depending on the type of vehicle, parking duration, and time of reservation.

There are accessible parking spaces in every parking lot near the terminal entrance. Official ADA placards or other official permits must be visible to park in these spaces. Parking in front of or next to the terminals is prohibited. The front of the terminals is designed solely for passenger drop-off and pick-up. If you park in these areas, your vehicle will be towed. EV charging stations are available in the P4 Parking Lot, Ground Floor, and A Parking Lot, Floors 4 and 5. All parking areas are equipped with security cameras. You can pay by credit card or cash.
